My name is Marlene Solorio, and my journey into birth work is deeply personal. As a mother of four, my postpartum experiences profoundly shaped my path. In my earlier postpartum periods, I faced challenges like postpartum depression and low milk production. However, with my last two children, embracing placenta encapsulation made a remarkable difference in my recovery and well-being. This transformative experience inspired me to become a placenta encapsulation specialist and a postpartum doula, allowing me to help other families navigate their postpartum journeys.
Additionally, my own experience of achieving a vaginal birth after three cesareans was transformative. It showed me the power of informed decision-making and the strength of the body and mind.
My experiences in birth and postpartum have fueled my passion for empowering families. I’m well-versed in birth rights and hospital policies.
